Hi, there!
Welcome back to planDisney, Sarah. We're always glad to see you!
As a mom of three, a stroller is an absolute must-have for my family's Disney vacations. Exploring the
theme parks requires a lot of walking, and those little legs tire quickly! I think you'll appreciate the
stroller rental service at the Walt Disney World Resort. It's convenient and affordable! The single and double strollers available to rent were recently replaced with new Mickey and Minnie themed strollers, and they're super cute.
You ask a really great question. Guests are permitted into the theme parks prior to official park opening. When you arrive at the theme parks, you'll first go through the turnstiles to validate your admission at the entrances. Once you have done that, you are welcome to pick up your stroller rental! Depending on the theme park you're visiting, you'll then head toward the entrance of the "land" you plan to explore first. There you'll wait for "rope drop."
You'll receive a nameplate for your rental, but you may want to pack an additional marker to help you find your stroller in a sea of others in the parking areas. I usually tie ribbons (Mickey Mouse ribbons, of course) around the handlebar of our stroller, but I've seen Guests use balloons and even battery-operated twinkle lights!
I hope this was helpful, Sarah. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation! As always, we'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
Ashley
