Hi Lisa. Thanks for reaching out to us here at planDisney!
Unfortunately, you will not be able to purchase tickets using a Florida resident offer since you are not a Florida resident. For your sister and her children to take advantage of a
Florida resident discount, she would need to make the purchase herself, and when she arrives at the resort, she would also need to provide
appropriate documentation to demonstrate she's a Florida resident. Guests under 18 do
not need to provide proof, but they
do need to be accompanied by an adult who has provided such proof.
To ensure that you are all able to plan together, be sure that you are connected through the
My Family & Friends List and that your sister has permitted you to plan for
any profiles she manages. You'll both also want to make sure that you have toggled on the option to view all plans so that you can plan better. To do this, log into your
My Disney Experience account and select "My Family & Friends" from the My Disney Experience dropdown menu. Then, click on the "Settings" button next to the Guest's name and toggle on the "Allow _____ to view all of your plans." This can always be toggled off in the future!
Lisa, best wishes for a wonderful summer trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort. Since it gets a little hot in central Florida, take some time to enjoy the pool(s) at your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel and maybe even look into a visit to one of the
water parks to help you cool off! If you have any other questions,
I'm all ears!
Happiness is the richest thing we will ever own,
Matt
