I'm planning to purchase 2 separate vacation package. One for my family the other one for my daughter's family. She has her own account, I'll be making the payment for her. What's the best way to go about booking the package?

Greetings, and welcome to planDisney, Francine, we thank you for your question!

How wonderful it is that you are planning a vacation to Disneyland Resort with your family, and how very generous of you!

To book two separate Disneyland Resort vacation packages, you will have to sign in to your Disney account and book them one at a time beginning with the Build Your Vacation at the top of the page. The first reservation should be in your full name as the lead Guest, and the second reservation should be in your daughter’s full name as the lead Guest. This way once booked you will be able to share your daughter’s reservation number with her so she can link the reservation to her Disney account and then you can all link your theme park tickets together to manage your planning for related reservations for dining, events, tours and theme park ticket options such as the Disney Genie+.

For each Disneyland Resort vacation package, after you have selected your Disneyland Resort hotel, you will be presented with the option to select your theme park tickets and any options. I would recommend adding the Disney Genie+ service option to your theme park tickets because it will save you time waiting in lines for attractions that offer the Lightning Lane entrance – this would serve your party well, especially with a larger travel party.

Once booked, please proceed to book Disneyland Resort – Theme Park Reservations for each day of your theme park admission for all in your travel party, as this is the process for visiting the theme parks at this time, and then kindly download the Disneyland Mobile App to manage all your plans before and during your visit. Once you book your Theme Park Reservations you will receive an email with QR code(s) verifying your Theme Park Reservations, and this is something you will want to have on hand when visiting the theme parks in case you are asked to present your QR code(s). All of your reservations will be stored in your Disney account planning area called My Disneyland.

At 60-days before your stay, you can begin booking your Disneyland dining reservations and then stop by planDisney to receive advice for any related tours or experiences to enhance your stay.

Tips: If you purchase the Disney Genie+ service you will enjoy unlimited digital downloads of all Disney’s PhotoPass Service attraction photos including Magic Shots from your day. Don't forget to book your return transportation from the airport to Disneyland Resort which will be presented to you in your booking process for each reservation.

I hope this information is helpful, Francine, please stop by planDisney with any other related questions, it would be our pleasure to assist you, thank you.
