Hi Bill!
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with this great question! I'm excited you'll be visiting the
Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few short weeks!
Purchasing
single-day park tickets has changed a bit recently. Prices will vary based on the park you decide to choose, so EPCOT may have a different single-day price than the Magic Kingdom. Since you have to choose a specific park, your
park reservation will already be selected for you. With this said, once you make your purchase, you can modify the date you've chosen for a future date, as long as there is availability at this park. If the new date has the same price, you will not incur any additional cost. However, if the new date you select is more than what you originally paid, you will be required to pay the outstanding balance to make the change.
If you are unable to visit and do not reschedule before your park day, you'll be able to use the value you paid for these tickets for a future date.
Walt Disney World tickets will never lose their value, so you'll be able to apply the amount you paid toward another ticket purchase.
Bill, I hope you are able to make it in a few weeks! The
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is underway along with all the beautiful topiaries to check out. There are many outdoor kitchens with new menu items to try this year, including many delicious beverages to go along with them. There is a fun scavenger hunt to take part in where you are on the lookout for Spike the Bee all around the park. Your family is bound to have an amazing time!
I hope this information helps you plan for your stay!
See ya real soon!
Greg
