im planning a princess-themed vacay for my dtr. I read an article that if I send a letter to WDW Comm., they would send back a postcard autographed by all the princesses. Do they still do that? That would be a perfect way to surprise her with the trip.

    Hi Anne,

    A princess-themed vacation....what an awesome idea!

I have some news that will hopefully make your day - you still can write in and request for the Disney Princesses to send a signed postcard!

[In my best late-night TV infomercial sales pitch voice]

    But wait, there's more!

The Walt Disney World Communications Department is now accepting these requests via e-mail, so you can knock this out quicker and easier than ever before! No more searching for envelopes or stamps, just whip up a quick e-mail the next time you're at your computer and you'll be all set!

[Ok, back to my normal voice]

Here's the e-mail address to send your request: wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com

The word on the street is that you should expect to get a postcard within 6-8 weeks after your request, so hopefully that'll be enough time to pull off your surprise! If you should have any additional questions, or would like other planning ideas, please feel free to write back and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
