Hi MOMS! I'm planning a pre-Christmas vacation (12/17-12/21/12). Our first WDW experience! Our youngest will turn 2 on 12/14. Will he be able to get the complimentary birthday button even though his b-day doesn't fall during our stay?

Hi there Amanda! Vacationing at Walt Disney World is extra magical when celebrating a birthday!

Feel free to stop by any Guest Services location in one of the Disney parks to request your little one's birthday button! It is not required that your child be in attendance at the park on his or her actual birthday. These celebration pins are a great way to get some recognition from cast members and even other park guests! Sometimes, there are little extra surprises like special treats at the table-service restaurants.

For even more birthday ideas to honor this momentous occasion, check out this link to the Disney website.

Thanks for taking the time to visit us at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions our way in the days leading up to your trip! May your Disney birthday celebration vacation be practically perfect in every way!
