Welcome to planDisney Thelma!
Let's find some options for your entire crew to sail! The really good news is that once you are on your beautiful
cruise ship, it is truly a vacation with all your meals included, complimentary
room service, and even a stateroom host/hostess who will tidy your room twice a day!
With a party of 6, your options become a bit limited. To have only one stateroom you would need to book a
suite which is an option, but a pricey option! You would need to get in the 2 bedroom or "royal" suite categories. You might be able to get away with a 1 bedroom if you have any little sailors aged 2 or under in a crib, but you would need to call to see if that would work. If you want to look into suites,
give a call to Disney Cruise to inquire about your options for a party of 6.
Another option is to book 2 staterooms. I know you prefer one room, but with a convenient connecting door, it is like creating your own suite! This actually works out well since you can have a "quiet" room in the afternoon for naps or for anyone heading to bed early. When booking online, you will choose your exact rooms, so look for rooms with the interior connecting door.
Browse through cruises and available staterooms to see if you find an option that might work for your family. You always have the option to call as well, so maybe after speaking to one of the fantastic Disney Cruise agents, you will feel at ease about the connecting rooms.
Sending pixie dust that you are sailing soon!
