Hi Sarah-louise and welcome to planDisney!
How exciting that you're planning a 3-week stay at
Walt Disney World in September 2026. You'll probably not be surprised to hear that I'm avid planner myself, and as far as I am concerned, it's never too early to start planning your next holiday to Walt Disney World!
When booking a
Hotel + Ticket package with the
Walt Disney Travel Company via the Walt Disney World website, here in the UK, the start date of your 14-Day Magic Tickets automatically defaults to your arrival date. So, for example, if you were to book a 21-night stay, arriving on 16 September 2026, your 14-Day Magic Ticket would be valid any 14 days from 16 September 2026 - 3 October 2026.
I completely understand you wanting to postpone the start date of your tickets to the following day as it's unlikely that you'll be visiting a Theme Park on your arrival day, after the long journey from the UK but, as you'll be staying for 21 days, that day would be useful to have for later on in your stay.
My best advice, Sarah-louise, would be to contact the Disney Experts at the Walt Disney Travel Company to enquire if it is possible to amend the start date of your 14-Day Magic Tickets.
You can contact them 7 days a week by calling freephone on 0800 169 0730 and their opening hours are as follows:-
Monday - Friday 9am-8pm
Saturday 9am-7pm
Sunday 10am-6pm
You can also contact them via email:- disneytraveluk@disneyonline.com.
I'm sorry that I couldn't give you a definite answer to your question on this occasion, Sarah-louise. Please do, however, feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any further assistance.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
