    I’m planning a mini vaca w 5y/o and 2y/o. Dates flexible Dec/Jan. We want to stay in Disney property w kitchen. Not going to parks this time in order to enjoy other things Disney that we never have time for. Any suggestions on resorts?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am loving your relaxation plan for the holiday season!

    Since it sounds like you want a full kitchen, I would suggest a deluxe or deluxe villa resort. These resorts have fantastic amenities including great pools and restaurants. I recommend you try Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, near Disney Springs. We absolutely love the resort grounds, the Turf Club Bar and Grill, and the two main pools. With such close proximity to Disney Springs, you would have a nice variety of restaurant options, shopping and other activities. For some extra fun, try Splitsville Luxury Lanes!

    Additional options include Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village and Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House. With access to Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge, you would have a world of activities from which to choose. The kids programming is fantastic and the animals greeting you just beyond your balcony are spectacular. The pools and restaurants are also superb. If your focus is on activities for the little ones, I would definitely try one of the villas.

    Gwendy, if you choose Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village or Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House, I also suggest you try one of the Nature Experiences highlighted on the Enchanting Extras page. On our last visit, we did the Caring for Giants tour and our girls loved seeing the elephants up close!
