Hi there, Vellia! You have certainly come to the right place for help planning your first visit to the Disneyland Resort!
Since you already know the days you plan to visit, the next step would be to choose your hotel accommodations. There are three Disneyland Resort Hotels that place you right inside the magic and offer other great perks like Extra Magic Hour. There are also numerous Good Neighbor Hotels that are conveniently located to the park and offer rates to fit any budget. I suggest that you
book a vacation package. This will allow you to bundle your hotel and theme park tickets (and other extras) together.
As far as theme park tickets go, I always recommend
purchasing Park Hopper tickets. Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are literally right across from each other so it is really easy to hop back and forth. When traveling with a little one, it’s important to be flexible with your plans. Being able to visit both parks every day ensures that you never miss out on any fun.
After your tickets and lodging are booked, you will want to
research dining options. When it comes to food, the Disneyland Resort has it all! I suggest making a few advanced dining reservations for table service meals and especially for any character meals you would like to enjoy. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance online or by calling (714) 781-3463.
Finally, come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any and all questions you have as you continue to plan your adventure. We can discuss attractions perfect for kids, character meets, entertainment options, and touring strategies. Hope to hear more from you soon!
