Hi I’m planning going to magic kingdom with my family and I want to know if I have to make a reservation for one day ticket??

    Hi Luciana,

Welcome to planDisney! We are so glad that you stopped by with your Walt Disney World Resort planning question. There is nothing quite like spending a day in Magic Kingdom Park, so you have made a practically perfect decision for that to be your park of choice.

In the process of purchasing your one-day ticket, you will select which park you would like to visit, which automagically allows you to visit that theme park. So, no reservations are necessary!

Now, as Mary Poppins likes to say, “Well begun is half-done,” so let’s see what else we can do to help you and your family make the most of your day in The Most Magical Place on Earth. First, I encourage you to arrive when the park opens. You will be amazed at how many attractions you can experience early in the day.  I also recommend that you purchase an Individual Lightning Lane Entry for TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise® to ensure that you'll get to experience this stunning new attraction at least once during your visit. Of course, you will want to pace yourself so that you be ready to find a spot to view the awe-inspiring Happily Ever After nighttime spectacular fireworks display. It is truly supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Luciana, I hope this information is helpful for your planning. Around here, we agree with Mary Poppins that in every job that must be done, there is an element of fun, so stop back by and let us help you with any other planning questions you may have!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
