I’m planning on going to magic kingdom the day that I check into the All Star Hotel. Magic Kingdom is having extra magic hours starting at 7:45am. Since technically check in isn’t until 3pm, will I still be able to access magic hours that morning? Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Laura!

I am a professional at early morning flights, and my family often lands before the parks even open. Laura, I am happy to tell you that you are able to take advantage of all of the amazing Walt Disney World Resort hotel benefits before your room is ready, including Extra Magic Hours

One thing that I would make sure to do is to complete Online Resort Check-In before your arrival. This will let you skip the front desk, so you can head straight to the park and receive a text message as soon as your room is ready. If you have not already checked-in, you will want to visit the front desk before heading out to the parks.

Please note that if you are flying and your flight arrives before 5:00 am, you will have to swing by baggage claim to grab your luggage before heading to Disney's Magical Express. If you do arrive at your resort with your bags, not to worry, Bell Services will happily hold your luggage until your room is ready.

Laura, I checked the calendar for your arrival date. It looks to me like there the Magic Kingdom does not have morning Extra Magic Hours for the week of your arrival; however, Early Morning Magic is scheduled for March 1st at 7:45 am.

Early Morning Magic is a special ticketed event where you can experience all of the fun Fantasyland has to offer, including Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Since this is a limited capacity experience, you can get on some amazing rides with little to no wait before enjoying your included breakfast at Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe. Up until March 3rd, Cinderella's Fairy Godmother even puts on a spectacularly charming show to ring in the day!

While I am normally a huge fan of Early Morning Magic, I probably wouldn't spring for the extra ticket on my arrival date, just in case my flight gets delayed, or I run into some unexpected traffic on my road trip since you will not want to miss a minute of the magic!

I hope that this helped, Laura. Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help as you plan your magical getaway!
