Hi, Ben! Welcome to planDisney - it's great to SEA you in the
Disney Beach Resorts corner of the Internet. There's not much I enjoy more than helping folks plan their next Disney vacation, and I'm here to give you all the information you need to make your 2027 travels extra-magical!
I'm not sure which of the amazing East Coast locations you're planning, so I'll give you the details for accommodations at both
Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort and
Disney's Vero Beach Resort. Who knows, maybe you'll be inspired to check out both of these
Disney Vacation Club resorts on an epic adventure!
Let's start with a swing to South Carolina, home to the Hilton Head Island resort. The resort reminds me of something from a classic movie - it's a beautiful spot with plenty of Disney touches sprinkled throughout. There is a wide range of accommodations for groups of all sizes, so you have some great options for your group of adults and children.
The Deluxe Studios at Hilton Head sleep 4, plus an additional infant. These do not have a full kitchen, but if you have a few different family units traveling together, they're a nice option to give folks some private space. The 1, 2, and 3-Bedroom Villas will accommodate larger parties, and all of these offer full kitchens. A 2-Bedroom fits 9 Guests, plus an infant, while a 3-Bedroom sleeps 12 plus an infant.
At the Vero Beach resort, you're a short drive from
Walt Disney World Resort, which sets you up nicely for a combined beach/theme park vacation! Our family loves Vero - like Hilton Head, it has an old-fashioned vibe and is perfectly suited for a relaxing beach getaway. One very special aspect of this resort is its
Sea Turtle conservation program, with team members on site to protect the turtles' nests. Depending on when you visit, you may even have the incredible opportunity to see some newly hatched turtles make their way to the big blue!
The accommodations at Vero are similar to Hilton Head, with a couple of exceptions. Vero also offers a 2-Bedroom Lock-Off Villa, which combines a Studio and a 1-Bedroom Villa. This translates to separate entrances, kitchens, and sleeping areas, which is great to allow your group some privacy. The 2-Bedroom Lock-Off sleeps 9 Guests plus an infant, and there is also a 3-Bedroom "Beach Cottage" that sleeps up to 12 plus an infant.
Ben, if you are a DVC Member hoping to use your
Vacation Points for this stay, you can book starting 11 months before your desired check-in date at your Home Resort, or 7 months for any other location. Otherwise, you can make a cash reservation. Currently, these can be booked through December 2026, so I recommend checking back for the most up-to-date availability.
I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes, Ben! If I can provide any additional information for the specific resort you want to visit, please feel free to
reach out again. Thanks so much for visiting planDisney!
Just Go with the Flow...
