Hi Michaela!
You have “boarded” here at planDisney for what appears to be your first time, so “Welcome Aboard!” I know that you are looking forward to your upcoming voyage with Captain Mickey. Based on your dates, it looks like you are planning a voyage to the Bahamas on the
Disney Dream.
Yes, your nephew can absolutely board the ship with you. As part of your stateroom party, you will all go through the Disney Cruise Line Check-In process together, share the same
Port Arrival Time, and be assigned the same boarding group. (Platinum members are the only ones that can board the ship based on their
Castaway Club level, so you will not be boarding based on your Gold Castaway Club status.) Count on taking that selfie with your nephew before boarding and hearing the “Welcome Aboard” as you all walk on the ship together!
What an awesome aunt you are to take your nephew on his first Disney cruise! It helps that this is not your first Disney sailing so that you can introduce him to the experience and all the tips and tricks that
first time Disney cruisers need to know. I cannot wait for you to introduce him to
all the magic that is included with Disney Cruise Line, from deck parties to fireworks at sea, Broadway-caliber musicals and beloved Disney characters.
Speaking of tips, don't miss my favorite musical on the Disney Dream:
Beauty and the Beast live onstage in the
Walt Disney Theatre. It may be a tale as old as time, but it's a must see in my book!
Sail back over to planDisney if you think of more questions. Have a DREAMy vacation!
Sherry
