Hi, Sherri!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your question brought back so many memories! My husband and I spent our honeymoon sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey, too! We had an unforgettable time and actually were seated at dinner with another couple who were also on their honeymoon! Our Disney Cruise was the perfect way for us to celebrate our new life as newlyweds.
If you've been on three previous Disney Cruise Line voyages, that means you're a Castaway Club Member! Even though your soon-to-be hubby hasn't set sail with Disney yet, he will still enjoy
all the benefits that come along with being a Silver Castaway Club Member because you will be booking together and staying in the same stateroom. For example, as a Silver Castaway Club Member you can look forward to booking Port Adventures 90 days in advance of your voyage, receiving a "welcome back aboard" gift and early booking for new itineraries! In fact, the
Summer 2019 itineraries were recently announced!
When we set sail on our honeymoon cruise, I brought along magnetic stateroom door decorations to make our home away from home festive and fun! Before our cruise, I cut out wedding bells, champagne glasses and other cute wedding-related designs and attached them to magnets for our stateroom door! It made us smile every time we returned back to our room. We enjoyed a romantic dinner at Palo one evening during our voyage, too. I definitely recommend looking into booking dinner there!
Sherri, I hope you're having so much fun planning your honeymoon aboard Disney Cruise Line! If you have any future questions, please come back and visit us again!
