I'm planning to hit HS on the day it has extra hours (10:00 pm - Midnight). How will the cast know which guests can stay inside the park. Really looking forward to Fantasmic at 10pm and want to know how far in advance will we have to get in line

    Hi Jean!
I love evening Extra Magic Hours way more than morning ones! Extra Magic Hours is one of the many benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World resort. When the park closes to regular day guests, you can still stay and enjoy the park for a few more hours. Cast Members distinguish resort guests by verifying your resort room key in order to gain access to attractions. Day guests not participating in Extra Magic Hours are still free to shop, dine or just stroll about, but they would not be able to get on or into any attractions.
As for Fantasmic, it will be packed, as most guests coming for EMH, plus day guests about to leave after the show, will all be trying to see the performance. I suggest making your way to the queue a good 45-60 minutes before show time. You will not be first in line, but should still be able to get good seating. Many guests line up sometimes two hours before admission time. I have never done that, nor will I ever.
I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical trip!! :)
