Welcome back to planDisney, Jeannette! I'm so happy to chat with you again about Disney Resort Hotels.
Jeannette, with easy access to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios by way of the
Disney Skyliner, this resort has a lot to love! I have wonderful memories from my family's time at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort and the cutest pictures with larger-than-life character statues all around the grounds. This value resort is split into sections, highlighting four popular Disney movies: Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid.
Now, Jeannette, as you're learning about Disney's Art of Animation Resort, I'll first direct you to the
planDisney pocket guides! These are quick reference guides that help guests learn more about resort choices and what makes each property unique. You can download the guide for Disney's Art of Animation Resort
HERE.
One of my favorite features of Disney's Art of Animation Resort is the
family suite option. These rooms sleep up to 6, have two full bathrooms, and a kitchenette area. My family stayed here when my two boys were preschool age and we were traveling with my father-in-law. It was the perfect option for multigenerational travel because we had a bit more space to spread out than a traditional hotel room, but could all be together.
If anyone in your traveling party loves to swim, you'll find that The Big Blue Pool lives up to its name (
actually the largest pool at any of the Disney Resort Hotels) and is the perfect place to cool off after a balmy day in the parks.
Jeannette, I hope this helps as you're thinking ahead to your Christmas vacation. This resort is so much fun and has a wonderful, whimsical vibe. If you have any additional questions, please come on back to planDisney!
