I’m planning to go on a trip to Disneyland with my boyfriend and our son who just turned 1, will my 1 year old be able to go on the attractions?

    Hello, Jade!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We’re so happy you’ve stopped by with a question!

Children under the age of three do not require an admission ticket. So you do not need to purchase a ticket for your son. He will still be permitted to ride attractions with you! A few rides you won’t want to miss include Dumbo the Flying Elephant and “it’s a small world” at Disneyland Park. Over at Disney California Adventure Park there's The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure and Toy Story Midway Mania! All of these rides have no height requirements and are fun for the whole family!

I have a couple tips for traveling with a 1-year old:

    • Baby Care Centers are located in both parks and are equipped with vending machines that dispense diapers, wipes, baby food and formula. Drop by these locations to nurse, change, or feed your young child. Disneyland Park’s location is at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., next to First Aid. Disney California Adventure Park’s location is next to Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop in Pacific Wharf.
    • Stroller Rentals are available for day use at the theme parks. They can be rented near the Disneyland Park Main Entrance adjacent to the Kennel. If you prefer to bring your own stroller, please make sure it falls within the guidelines

I hope your whole family enjoys a day fun-filled at “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
