Hiya Mathew!
Welcome aboard! I'm super excited about your question because
Parasailing at Castaway Cay is one of my all-time favorite Port Adventures. It's almost like being sprinkled with pixie dust so you can fly like Peter Pan!
I called and spoke to a lovely Cast Member because your question is very unique. You are correct that guests under 13 years old must fly tandem with an adult, so each of your girls will need you to soar along with them. I was advised that you need to sign up twice since you'll be parasailing twice, but it's a little complicated to do that based on the reservation system. Based on the Cast Member's recommendations to me, you have two options:
- If you are cruising with a fourth person (who I'm assuming is not planning to parasail) you can sign them up with you and your two daughters. I would recommend doing this if you can so you know there are four fights reserved on one boat.
- If there isn't a fourth person in your party you can sign yourself up with one child in one time slot, then try to sign yourself and the second child up in the next time slot. The reservation system doesn't typically allow you to choose the same guest twice for a Port Adventure.
Neither of these methods is perfect, so you'll need to visit a Cast Member at the
Port Adventures desk as soon as you board the ship. They will be able to advise you on what to do and potentially make notes on your reservation so that everyone can fly over the gorgeous water at Disney Castaway Cay.
As an extra activity while you're on the island, I highly recommend
renting bicycles! The trail is flat and smooth, providing an easy ride around the island. It's definitely the fastest way to get to the observation tower, where you can climb high above the trees for an amazing view. Don't forget to snap a selfie with the cruise ship in the distance!
I hope it all works out and your daughters absolutely love soaring over the big blue sea, Mathew!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
