Howdy Megan,
Welcome to planDisney! You're in for quite the show with the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! It's 2 hours of dancing, singing, clapping and fun. The entertainment is amazing and the food is delicious. Make sure to save room for the strawberry shortcake!
According to the
Frequently Asked Questions section, complimentary transportation generally operates until about 1 hour after the theme park closes. If
Magic Kingdom Park closes at 9:00 PM and there is not a special after-hours event, then you may be pushing it trying to get there in time to catch a bus back to your
Disney Resort Hotel. You will want to speak to a Cast Member at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue to verify if the buses will still be running before you head back to Magic Kingdom Park as they may make an exception.
As an alternative, I would suggest taking a bus from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground to
Disney Springs, as buses typically run until 12:30 AM. Then, you'll be able to take a bus to your Disney Resort Hotel. If you still find yourself energized, you can even check out
World of Disney--the largest Disney store in the World--while you're there.
My favorite option, however, would be to schedule
Minnie Van service back to your Disney Resort Hotel after your dinner and show. Although there is an extra cost associated with this method of transportation, it will be the quickest and most direct route.
Minnie Van service has become my family's most preferred way to travel around Walt Disney World Resort. The Cast Members are so friendly and make the trip so easy and enjoyable.
I hope you have an incredible time on your vacation, Megan. You may even have the chance to practice your musical washboard skills at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Magical Wishes,
Lauren
