I'm planning to go to Disneyland in June. Already bought my tickets. Do I need to reserve a park or just show up?

Hey there, hi there, Jason! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by planDisney with your ticket question for us.

I'm thrilled to hear you will be visiting Disneyland Resort soon and that you have already purchased your tickets. You are almost ready to arrive! You do need theme park ticket reservations as well as your ticket for entry into the parks. If you purchased the tickets through Disneyland's website or the Disneyland app, you should already have reservations, as you would have had to choose your date and park during the purchase process. If not, no worries, just make sure your ticket is linked to your account and make your reservations.

Now, if you are used to Walt Disney World, I feel like I need to stick up for Sleeping Beauty Castle. She may be more quaint than Cinderella Castle, but she is the original, and she is lovely. Plus, you can enjoy a unique walkthrough that will take you on a journey through the Sleeping Beauty story. She's also all decorated up for the 70th Celebration that is happening right now, and there's so much to see and do and eat!

Jason, thanks again for stopping by! See you real soon!

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
