Hi, Im planning to go Disneyland on Jan 2025 and my son just celebrated his 3rd birthday this month. So the 4 years old requirement are follow by year or he still considered 3 years old since it is not September yet on 2025?

Magical greetings, Faiza. Thanks for stopping by planDisney! I'm glad you are here.

Happy belated birthday to your little Mouseketeer! Three years old was such a fun age to take my kids to the Disneyland Resort theme parks, and I think your son will have a wonderful time. Guests who are 3 years old and older require their own theme park admission ticket and park reservation. Ages 2 years old and under are the Guests of Mickey, but as your son just turned 3, he will need his own admission ticket for your January visit.

Faiza, did you know the Disneyland Mobile App has a filter function to help you and your little one find your next favorite ride? From the app home screen, tap the "Pin" icon on the bottom navigation bar. This opens the Disneyland Resort Map, where you will want to click "Filter" at the top left of the screen. Here you can filter rides based on Location, Thrill Factor, Age, Height, and more! Some of my kids' favorite rides at age 3 were Mater's Junkyard Jamboree (32-inch height requirement) in Disney California Adventure Park and "it's a small world" in Disneyland Park. I'll bet your son will love them, too!

Thanks again for bringing us your question. Please let me know if you have any other questions, Faiza. I would be happy to help!

    See ya real soon,
    Melissa
