Hello Hiroka!
Welcome to planDisney!
Meeting characters in Walt Disney World is one of the most magical activities, I don’t think my vacation is complete without meeting Mickey Mouse or one of my favorite Princesses.
Happily Ever After takes place on most evenings in Magic Kingdom. If you are visiting in September, I suggest making sure no special events are occurring on the day you plan to visit Magic Kingdom. The official dates for
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party have not been announced yet, but the Halloween party has a different fireworks show. In the past, Halloween events have been announced in Spring, so I recommend watching
Disney Parks Blog for any updates. As your trip gets closer, you can check the Hours & Events Calendar for scheduled times for Happily Ever After, as fireworks times may change throughout the year.
At this time, you can meet Asha in EPCOT near World Showcase Plaza. This year, the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival even has a topiary of Asha, Valentino, and Star from Wish. Although topiary displays can change from year to year, it is another fun way to see characters from your favorite movies. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Ariel from the live-action story is meeting at Walt Disney Presents. After meeting Ariel, you can walk over to
The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure, which is debuting May 27, 2025. Although it is subject to change in the future, there are currently no end dates listed for the opportunity to meet Asha or Ariel.
Once you’re in Walt Disney World, you can use the My Disney Experience app to look at the available times for meeting characters. You can search for the characters by name, or visit the map and filter by “Characters” to see a full list for each theme park.
I’m sorry I don’t have more specific information, Hiroka! Once you confirm your travel plans, you can visit us again at
