Hi, I'm planning to go to Disney world May 2012 and plan to get the regular Disney Dining Plan. I've noticed that several table restaurants are "ala carte". Does this mean I would still have to pay for any side dishes "ie: baked potato, sala

    Hi Trinity!

The 2012 Disney Dining Plan includes the same meal allotments at participating regular, and "à la carte" Disney dining locations. That is, at Table-Service restaurants you will receive a main course entrée, a dessert, and a non-alcoholic beverage (or one full buffet). Main courses listed on the menu typically incorporate sides as part of each entrée. For example at Le Cellier Steakhouse, the Mushroom Filet Mignon is accompanied by a side of Wild Mushroom Risotto. There are no additional charges for sides included as part of an entrée. Most main courses will incorporate sides, such as mashed potatoes, and/or some type of green vegetable. When in doubt, you can always ask the restaurant Cast Member to show you what menu items are included on the Disney Dining Plan. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.
