I'm planning to go to Disney on June for my daughter's birthday and we are trying to get the magicbands. There are 2 adults and 4 kids, but we only want them for the adults and one kid. How can I get them sent to our address?

    Hi there, Agustin!

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for bringing us your question about MagicBands! I'm excited to hear that your family is planning to visit the Walt Disney World Resort this summer - are you counting down the days yet!? MagicBand+ is a wonderful way for your family to access the magic and experience convenience during your upcoming vacation. Agustin, I'd be happy to walk you through how to order MagicBands ahead of your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth!

I'm thrilled to inform you that, if your family will be staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you're eligible to pre-order MagicBands at a discounted rate! To pre-order your MagicBands, log into your Disney account on the Walt Disney World Resort website, hover over the "My Disney Experience" tab, and select "My MagicBands and Cards." On this page, scroll down to locate your Resort hotel reservation and tap "Get Started." Here, you'll be able to choose (or decline) a special MagicBand or MagicBand+ for each Guest on your Resort hotel reservation! Agustin, if you'd like to have your order shipped directly to your home address, you'll need to place your MagicBand order at least 11 days before your scheduled arrival. MagicBand orders placed between six and ten days prior to arrival will be shipped to the Resort hotel's front desk for pick-up upon arrival. Pre-ordering MagicBands is not available within five days of a Guest's scheduled arrival date. Agustin, if not all members of your travel party would like to pre-order a MagicBand or MagicBand+, Hakuna Matata - it means "no worries!" To decline a MagicBand for a Guest during the pre-order process, simply select the Guest, then tap "Decline a New MagicBand."

Alternatively, if your party does not have a Disney Resort hotel reservation and will be instead visiting as day Guests, I encourage you to check out the selection of MagicBands available on shopDisney! If you go this route for ordering MagicBands, I encourage you to place your order at least two weeks in advance to allow time for shipping and delivery. Once you receive your MagicBands, be sure to link them to your accounts using the My Disney Experience mobile app, and pair them to your mobile devices (if MagicBand+). Finally, if you choose MagicBand+ for your upcoming visit, I recommend fully charging your bands before each use. This will ensure that your band has the "pixie dust" needed to unlock all of the magic in the theme parks!

Agustin, I hope this information is useful to you as you continue to plan for a memorable visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! Remember that, if you decide against pre-ordering MagicBands, you'll be able to find a fantastic selection once you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort as well. If you have any additional planning questions, please stop back by planDisney again anytime - we're all ears!

    See ya real soon,
