Christmas on Main Street

    If I'm planning on getting Mickey's very merry christmas party tickets, do I need park pass for that day as well? Does the park close down for folks without MVMCP tickets?

    Christmas in July is the perfect time to talk about Christmas at The Most Magical Place on Earth! Walt Disney World Resort comes to life during the holidays with the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, stunning gingerbread displays at various Disney Resorts Collection hotels, and the holly jolliest celebration of all - Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! 

    Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special ticket event, which means party guests do not need an additional theme park reservation to enter Magic Kingdom Park on the day of their party. Isn't that great?! The Christmas party begins at 7:00 p.m. but party guests are welcome to enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m. I plan on spending my morning doing some holiday shopping at Disney Springs and resting up before joining Mickey and friends on Main Street, U.S.A. Santa even makes an appearance during Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Snowflakes included! 

    Since Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special event, the park closes early on party days for general admission Guests. A smaller crowd during the party means less time waiting in line and more time enjoying hot chocolate and cookies!
