Bright suns, Adrian! The epic struggle between the First Order and the Resistance continues on the remote planet of Batuu!
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opened at
Disney's Hollywood Studios in August 2019. It was temporarily closed during the spring and summer of 2020, along with the rest of the Walt Disney World Resort, but reopened in July!
Guests can currently book a
Disney Resort Hotel, purchase tickets, and make a
park pass reservation for February 2021! This means that you are able to enjoy all that Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge has to offer! You can seat yourself behind the controls of the ship that made the Kessel Run in under 12 parsecs by experiencing
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run! You can also join the battle against the First Order at
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Or, perhaps, you prefer keeping company with the First Order?
Adrian, I have visited Batuu on two separate occasions over the past year! Simply put, I was in awe of what the Disney Imagineers have created. Not only can you experience the attractions mentioned above, but you can also build your own lightsaber at
Savi's Workshop or build your own droid at
Droid Depot. In between building or adventuring, you can also experience dining on the planet of Batuu by visiting
Oga's Cantina and
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo! I can't get enough of the Star Wars-themed menu items at these dining locations. The Fried Chicken Tip-Yip is my favorite!
Come back to planDisney if we can help you plan your visit to a galaxy far, far away!
