Hi there, Dylan, and welcome back to planDisney! Thank you so much for making us your go-to source for Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning advice. As you know, my Panelist pals and I are always here and happy to help our fellow Guests, just like you!
Dylan, you are such a great friend for being mindful of your friend's favorite meal! It sounds like he has good taste! After much research, I've been unable to find a dining location at Walt Disney World Resort that consistently serves Beef Wellington. There is a Beef Wellington dish that is typically served during the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, but those offerings are seasonal and subject to change. Hakuna matata - there is no shortage of delicious dishes at the Most Magical Place on Earth! I recommend heading to one of these amazing table service restaurants for a celebratory meal.
At
Disney Springs,
STK Steakhouse is an elevated take on a traditional steakhouse, offering
everything from a filet to surf and turf specials. You can't go wrong with a birthday dinner here!
For a dining experience that will transport you to New England, look no further than
Yachtsman Steakhouse at
Disney's Yacht Club Resort. The steak here is aged in-house, and the sides are to die for. Be sure to save room for
dessert! Stroll around Crescent Lake after dinner, and you might even catch the fireworks from nearby EPCOT. Stop by the Front Desk at the Resort to pick up complimentary buttons that each of you can wear to let everyone know you're celebrating.
This recommendation might seem odd at first, but bear with me.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is home to one of the most beautiful restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort:
Jiko - The Cooking Place. A visit here feels truly special because of the incredible theming and views of the Savanna. Any steak lover will appreciate the Bone Marrow-crusted Filet Mignon or the Braai New York Strip. Check out the
menu - the blend of African, Indian, and Mediterranean cuisine will have you ready to dig in in no time! Pair your meal with one of the unique South African wines for the perfect birthday toast.
Dylan, I hope this is helpful to you as you plan your friend's birthday dinner. Whether you choose one of these or another restaurant, I highly recommend making an
Advance Dining Reservation as soon as possible to secure your table. Reservations open 60 days in advance, so if you don't see one that works, please keep checking back. Many Guests edit and cancel their plans in the days and hours leading up to their visit, so oftentimes, more times open up closer to the day. It's not a guarantee, but it's worth a try!
Please stop by with any other questions you have, and wish your friend a happy birthday from all of us here at planDisney!
See ya real soon!
