Hi Hwayong!
Welcome to planDisney! I’m so excited that you’ll be making your first trip to
Disney World!
I’m happy to report that once you’re on Disney World property, you’ll be more than welcome to use Disney World transportation (with one exception that I’ll get to in a second!). You can hop on the Monorail, Skyliner, boats, and buses to get between theme parks and to the resorts. In fact, we often take a Skyliner or Monorail ride just for fun!
The only exception to this is going specifically from
Disney Springs to the Disney World resorts. At this time, off-property guests can only take transportation from Disney Springs to the resorts if they have a
dining reservation or an Enchanting Extras reservation at that resort.
As far as getting from an off-property hotel to the theme parks goes, I recommend looking at the options your hotel provides. Off-property hotels often provide their own shuttles; however, sometimes they run on limited schedules or drop you off at different areas instead of right at the theme park gates. So, it’s good to get all the information ahead of time!
I hope that helps! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your trip, feel free to come back and visit us!
