I´m planning my first visit in DisneyWorld with my girls (7,6 & 3 yo). Do you have any recommendation about the best rides/attractions on MK, Animal Kingdom, Epcot & Hollywood Studios? There are lots of things to do, but can´t decide! thx

    Hi Dolores! Welcome to planDisney!

There is nothing quite like your first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Having four theme parks to explore provides you with countless options to experience with your three little ones! While my list of favorite attractions may differ from others, let's discuss what each park has to offer for your family.

    • Magic Kingdom: This is the park that everyone thinks of when visiting Walt Disney World. It's home to Cinderella Castle and the iconic Main Street, U.S.A. It has the most attractions that cater to younger kids and will offer the best variety between each of its distinct areas. I would focus on rides that everyone in the family can enjoy together. A few of these include Peter Pan's Flight, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, and "it's a small world." Make sure to stake out a good spot in the afternoon to catch the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. This has always been a family favorite of ours and includes so many of your favorite Disney characters. To cap off the night, Happily Ever After will be shown in front of Cinderella Castle and includes a wonderful soundtrack, amazing projections, and booming fireworks. I still think back to the first time I saw this show holding my daughter in my arms.
    • EPCOT: With some recent additions over the past few years, EPCOT now has a larger variety of attractions to choose from. Some family-friendly rides include Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, Frozen Ever After, and Journey Into Imagination With Figment. These are three attractions that we hit every single time as a family. With the World Showcase being a huge part of this park, exploring each of the countries is something I would suggest doing. Your visit will coincide with the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, so there should be some fun activities to take part in for this event, including a special-themed scavenger hunt.
    • Disney's Hollywood Studios: I have a feeling that Toy Story Land will be an area of this park where you end up spending a lot of time. There are three attractions in this land alone, including Slinky Dog Dash, which is a small roller coaster. This area is incredibly immersive and themed perfectly. I also highly recommend taking a ride on Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. This may be my favorite ride at this park and I loved how exciting it was for Guests of all ages.
    • Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park: Just walking around this park is an attraction all by itself. It's absolutely beautiful and each area of the park is themed to perfection. Kilimanjaro Safaris needs to be at the top of your list. You'll see countless animals and even get up close to a few giraffes and zebras. There are a few shows that I believe are a can't miss. These include the Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo: The Big Blue... and Beyond! Make sure to include each of these on your itinerary.
Dolores, I barely had a chance to scratch the surface of must-dos during your stay. I kept it to just attractions and shows that I think your entire family will enjoy. If you have any more specific questions, please reach back out to me at planDisney! I would love to help you plan the rest of your first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

    See ya real soon!
