i'm planning our first trip in 2021 and i was wondering, can i bring a blow up mattress? been reading about i can mail things to our hotel, how does that work and is it an extra charge?

    Hi Samantha,

Some of my friends thought I was crazy when I mentioned my plans for 2018, 2019 and even 2020. So planning your first Walt Disney World Resort vacation for 2021? Awesome! Let me help you with some tips.

Some Guests do bring a twin size inflatable mattress when they do not want to share a bed. You should have no problems in fitting one of them in your room, even at a value Resort. Some rooms at moderate Resorts can accommodate five Guests. For example, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside includes rooms with two Queen Beds and a Narrow Twin-Size Pull-Down bed.

And mailing items ahead of time? Absolutely! Some Guests ship bulky items like diapers, or even a suitcase. Check out the Mail Services page for more info. Two things you need you should note. First, at this time there is a charge of $5 package received. And second, you should make sure your package is addressed as follows, and that it arrives a few days before your Check-In day:

    Attn: <your full name> - GUEST arrival <date of arrival>
<Resort Hotel Address, City, State, Zip>

One last tip: you can actually book a room up to 500 days in advance by talking to a travel agent or calling in (407) 939-1936, but be sure to keep an eye for Special Offers about six months prior to your arrival. Happy planning!
