Im planning our first trip to WDW. We have a Dining plan and I booked as many "character dining" as I possible could and my dining entitlements might ran out halfway through our stay. Will my CC get charged automatically after our meals then? Tha

    Hi Anne,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Your reservations sound a lot like mine typically do - the more character dining, the better!  With the Disney Dining Plan, you are given dining entitlements based on the amount of nights you are staying.  So if you are staying 5 nights, each person in your party will have 5 Table Service, 5 Quick Service and 5 Snack credits.  You may use these credits whenever you choose, however when they are gone, they are gone.  Not to worry though, once you have used your dining entitlements, your credit card will not be charged.  From that point on, you will be responsible for the cheque after you have finished your dining experience.  At the end of each Table Service meal or when you order your Quick Service meal, you will be given a cheque and you can decide how you would like to cover the charges, be it by credit card, cash, Disney Gift Card or Resort Room Charge.

If you are planning on experiencing a lot of character dining, I would suggest that you look into upgrading your Disney Dining Plan to the Deluxe Dining Plan.  My family and I love this plan because it allows us to experience as many character dining locations as we please, as well as enjoy some Signature Dining options and fabulous Dinner Shows.  With the Deluxe Dining Plan, guests are allowed 3 meals (Table Service or Quick Service) and 2 Snacks per night.  Each guest may also choose one appetizer to enjoy at Table Service locations.

I hope you have a magical time on your first visit to Walt Disney World Resort Anne.  If you have any more questions about the Disney Dining Plan or anything else, please let me know.  I would love to hear from you again!
