Hi, Allison!
A spooktacular first visit to the Happiest Place on Earth sounds like a perfect plan!
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is one of my favorite events. From Haunted Mansion Holiday in Disneyland Park to Guardians of the Galaxy -- Monsters After Dark in Disney California Adventure Park, there are so many limited-time touches to enjoy in both parks.
In addition to experiencing all the fall-inspired food, decor, attractions and entertainment, you can attend
Mickey’s Halloween Party, a separate ticketed event offered on select nights. This is the only time you can see the Frightfully Fun Parade, which isn’t offered during regular operating hours at Disneyland Park. Plus, all party attendees are allowed to wear costumes (even adults!) and there is trick-or-treating fun throughout the park. Tickets for the party won’t be on sale until this summer, so check back in the coming months to purchase yours.
You should make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance online or by calling Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE (3463). You can also book guided tours in advance if you wish. For a unique, behind-the-scenes look at Disneyland Park, consider the Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps Guided Tour. You’ll learn what inspired Walt Disney to create Disneyland Park and experience classic attractions before enjoying a yummy meal. A great seasonal option would be Disney’s Happiest Haunts Tour, a walking tour that is only offered during Halloween Time. You may book a guided tour 30 days prior to your visit by calling (714) 781-TOUR or (714) 781-8687. I hope this helps, Allison! Please send more questions as your pixie-dusted vacation approaches.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
