Hi! I'm planning my first trip to Disney world along with my husband, 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren. HELP!!! I need to know the best hotels for our crew 0f 8, is it best to get package with meals? What are favorite dining options......

    Hi Lisa,

With a party of 8, you could stay in a two-bedroom Villa or reserve 2 separate Resort rooms. This link: HERE gives you several lodging options. With 8 people you actually qualify as a Grand Gathering, which will give you access to several exciting experiences which are specifically for parties of 8 or more people. If you call 407-WDW-PLAN to speak with a Grand Gathering Travel Planner, they can help you with booking the best Resort for your family, as well has help with dining reservations.

We are a family of 7 and my Mom joins us on many of our trips. We always get the Disney Dining Plan. We find that it saves us a considerable amount of money. We enjoy one table service meal per day which gives us the chance to relax and recap favorite memories from the day. Be sure to make your dining reservations 180 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-DINE. The big tables tend to fill up quickly, and you'll want to sit together.

A few of our favorite restaurants are: Le Cellier, Tutto Italia, Boma, 'Ohana, Cinderella's Royal Table, Crystal Palace (breakfast), Chef Mickey's and Donald's Safari Breakfast.

Hope this helps and please send me a follow-up question if you need more assistance,
