I'm planning our first trip to Disney w/ my 18 mo son in a 3 weeks. Worried about son's reaction to meeting Mickey & characters. He was terrified of Santa. We have character meals planned, but where is the best, first place to first see/introduce Mick

    Hi Stacey,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I totally understand your concern as I had the same issue with my little Nemos.  I would not cancel any of your Character Dining Experiences.  Now I would suggest that you hold your little Pirate and slowly introduce him to Mickey and Friends.  If you notice that he's hesitant, then don't push it.  Maybe you can touch or hug the characters so he can see that it's not too bad.  Just remember, Mickey and Friends can be a little scary to the little ones but eventually they do grow out of it.

Be sure to take your camera as you will be making magical memories.  I love looking at my family's vacation pictures at Disney!

    Have a magical day!!
