I'm planning a first trip to Disney with my husband and children (9, 7 and 5) between January 2 - 7, 2011. Could you suggest the best parks to visit given the kids' ages and in what order? Also what are the must dos for a first time visitor?

    Hi Akunna!
Congratulations on your first trip to the happiest place on Earth! There are many things your children will enjoy at all four Disney theme parks. I suggest you sit down with your children and explore the Walt Disney World Resort website. This way, you can determine what your children don't want to miss. When we travel to Disney, our children usually insist we head straight to Magic Kingdom. Once at Magic Kingdom, Adventureland and Frontierland are family favorites. After that it's Epcot time, where the Kidcot Fun Stops are a hit! Then we visit Animal Kingdom where Affection Section in Rafiki's Planet Watch is always a must see. I'm a huge fan of Disney's Hollywood Studios where I love to enjoy all of the entertainment and ride every attraction.
You might also consider making a character dining reservation so your children can enjoy their meal while Disney characters visit their table for pictures, autographs and hugs! We're here to help so come back if you have more questions.
    Have a magical day!
