I'm planning our first family trip, and trying to decide between 1st week of March or first week of May? Traveling with 4yr. old, 10 yr. old, and husband. Low crowds are top priority. Jen s.

I think I'd opt for May over March.  March is often the start of many school spring breaks while May is typically a time when most kids are still in school.  If you can travel during times that most schools are in session, you have a much better chance of avoiding crowds.

Another nice feature of traveling in May is that the Epcot International Flower & Garden Fesitval will be happening; it transforms Epcot into an even more beautiful park than it already is, and there will be activities your children can participate in if they'd like.  When I visited WDW last May with my 8 year old son, he could have spent hours in the butterfly pavilion.  He was mesmerized by all the butterflies and watching the caterpillars.
