    Hello I'm planning our very first Disney vacation for January 2017. I was wondering if there is a certain date that 2017 reservations will be open? I am aware that we can make our hotel reservations but I would like to book the whole package together.

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this question. I'm very anxious to plan for 2017, too!

    The rates for Walt Disney World Resort vacation packages are typically released in the summer for the following year. For example, the package rates for 2016 were released on June 22, 2015. The 2015 package rates were released on July 30, 2014. The 2014 package rates were released on July 10, 2013. If the release continues as it has in the past, we can expect the 2017 rates to be released (and reservations to be open) mid-summer! Be sure to also keep your eye on the Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World Resort website.
