Hi! I'm planning my family's 1º trip to DL; we've been to WDW several times, including last feb with our 3yo and 5 yo. We'll probably only have 1 day to spend at DL and want to get the most of both parks, how would you recomend to spend the day?

    Hi there Valeria,

I am beyond happy to help you plan your first visit to Disneyland!  Since you have an extremely limited amount of time, I highly recommend arriving at the parks first thing in the morning, before opening, if possible, so you'll be among the first guests to enter!

I think starting at Disneyland Park is the best idea and be sure to head straight down Main Street and through Sleeping Beauty Castle to Fantasyland, so you can knock out some of the classic rides first, before the park fills up!

Be sure to check out the Disneyland-exclusive attractions first as well as those that may overlap, but are quite distinct:

Fantasyland: Alice in Wonderland, Mr Toad's WIld Ride, Matterhorn Bobsleds, it's a small world
ToonTown: Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin
    Tomorrowland: Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage
New Orleans Square: Sailing Ship Columbia, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion
    Adventureland: Indiana Jones
**You won't want to miss the spectacular Mickey's Soundsational Parade!

Since Downtown Disney is mere steps away from Disneyland Park, you may wish to head there for a quick lunch before spending the rest of your day at California Adventure!

Your little ones will wanna head straight to the all-new Cars Land, where they'll be able to do-si-do with Mater in Junkyard Jamboree, soar on Luigi's Flying Tires, and speed by on Radiator Springs Racers!  Be sure to grab a great spot for the absolutely amazing World of Color which takes place in Paradise Bay!

I'm all out of room, but please write back if I can answer any additional questions!
