Hi! I'm planning our family's 1st trip to Disneyworld and I have NO idea where to start! We are looking a couple years from now in the spring and we have a little girl. We want to do it right for her first trip. Any help or guidance would be appreciated

    Hi Stephanie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Congratulations on planning your first magical vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. I hope it will be the beginning of many trips with your little princess.

Planning your first vacation can seem a little overwhelming, but you have come to the right place.  We all remember making our initial vacation plans and are here to help every step of the way.  To begin, I suggest looking through the beautiful Disney Resorts and narrowing down where you might want to stay.  For first time Guests especially, I definitely recommend staying on property.  I love all of the Resorts, but for your little princess, I recommend the Royal Rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, the Little Mermaid Rooms at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, or for a picture perfect castle view, a stay in a Castle View Room at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.  Beyond figuring out where, it is important to figure out when and for how long.  Once you have made these initial decisions, the rest will begin falling into place and then we can help plan the attractions, dining and entertainment that will create your Fairy Tale adventure.

I hope I have at least given you an idea of where to start, Stephanie, but please send me any questions or concerns you have.  Planning your vacation should be half the fun and I am here to help!

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
