Hello Antonio!
Welcome to planDisney! I wish I had an adventurous last-minute planning bone in my body. I really want to just go with the flow but I can't. Luckily for those who want to just make some last-minute decisions, Walt Disney World Resort is still doable.
Most tickets sold these days are date-based tickets which can be
purchased online or in-person at any Will Call or Ticket Booth at the entrance to the Parks or at the
Disney Ticket Center in Disney Springs. Date-based tickets do not require
Theme Park Reservations so that's one less thing to worry about if purchased last-minute. If you purchase them online while logged into your MyDisney account you will find the tickets automatically linked to you and you can assign them to your Party. Everyone can then visit the Parks and tap into the Parks using a smartphone and the
Disney MagicMobile service. You can also use a linked Disney band or as they are known in the US,
MagicBand+. These bands will know if a ticket is linked to the person's account. Another option is to take your online confirmation and head to the Parks ticket booths and be issued a ticket card which you can use for your entire trip.
I have sometimes seen shops outside of Walt Disney World Resort selling "cheap tickets" to the Parks but I have to warn you that I don't know if they are legitimate or if they involve you sitting through a long timeshare presentation. I have never purchased from them and if you are short on time and making last-minute plans I would think twice about using any unofficial or unauthorized ticket sources.
I suggest you try to make your ticket purchases at least three days before you decide to use them as you will be in the booking window for
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass. If you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, the window to purchase these passes opens up at 7 AM three days before your first Park day. You will use the My Disney Experience Mobile App to add to your ticket the option to access the Lightning Lane for various attractions throughout your trip. You will book your first three Lightning Lanes before you arrive and once you start using them you can book more as your day in the Parks progress. It is an added cost but it does help reduce wait times in the Parks for those who use it. You may have to wait till you arrive in the US to download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App but make sure you do as it is very helpful with organizing your tickets, mapping you around the Parks, making
dining reservations, and purchasing the Lightning Lane Multi and Single Pass. You will not regret downloading it.
I hope this helps and you have a lovely time! We are here if you have any more questions.
Happy Planning!
