    I'm planning a family trip to Walt Disney World for Jan. 2019. When will I be able to make hotel reservations online? Also, how far in advance do you find out which theme park will have extra Magic Hours each day?

    Hi April! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    You are going to love your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort in January! Cooler weather, generally lighter crowds, and fun events like the Epcot International Festival of the Arts and Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend all contribute to a thoroughly enjoyable vacation!

    Online reservations for next year should open this summer and typically this happens around June or July. You can currently make Disney Resort hotel room-only reservations by calling Disney directly at (407) 939-1936 and speaking with a Cast Member.

    Calendars for each of the theme parks, including Extra Magic Hours, are released 180 days in advance. You can see this far out by going to each theme park's page and clicking on the calendar icon for park hours.
