    Caroline from OK Asked

Hi, I’m planning a family trip in fall 2022. We typically stay at the Beach Club and I have questions about booking rooms for so many people (11-13).

    Welcome to planDisney, Caroline!

Traveling with a large group of family or friends certainly multiples the Magic, but it can also multiple the planning, so I'm glad you're hEAR! With the iconic Stormalong Bay and quick access to EPCOT and the Disney Skyliner, Disney's Beach Club Resort is a wonderful choice.

Now, as you are on your planning journey, let's talk about a few things. First, it's important to note that you're able to make resort reservations 499 days in advance, so if you are hoping to book late fall, you may need to wait just a bit longer for that inventory to open up.

Next, you'll need to decide how you want to book your hotel rooms. If you have a few families who will each be managing their own plans, it might be easiest to book rooms separately and then later request that they be located near one another. The benefit of this would be that you'd easily be able to book online. However, if you are earning your Fairy Godmother wand and are booking for everyone, you will want to call and speak with a Cast Member. While you likely will wait on hold a bit, when you speak with someone, you'll be able to ask all of your questions AND book rooms over the phone (as long as you're within the booking window).

Finally, Caroline, in case word gets out that you're planning a Magical trip and even more Mouseketeers join your party and you need more than 10 hotel rooms, you'll want to call Disney Group Getaways

Once you've been able to secure your Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation, make sure to link it to your My Disney Experience account so that the planning fun can continue. I recommend having all the adults in your traveling party create their own My Disney Experience accounts and link through "My Family & Friends."

Caroline, I hope this kick-starts your journey to the Most Magical Place on Earth and we would love to see you here again at planDisney with any additional questions.

As my pal Mickey would say, "see ya real soon!"

My husband and I became Disney Vacation Club Members because we love visiting the Disney Parks and with hectic day-to-day schedules, wanted to prioritize time away for our family. The options at the Walt Disney World Resort make each trip unique and I am excited to help other families build vacations with those unforgettable moments.
