I'm planning our family of 3 on our first trip to Disney and saw I could do a down payment if I book through the Good Neighbor package. How would I be able to pay it in increments? Do I call the hotel and make payments through that?

Aloha! Thanks for dropping by planDisney, Marizor.

I'm happy to help explain the convenient payment plan option for Good Neighbor Hotel Vacation Packages. It's a great way to budget for your upcoming visit, because it allows you to make payments at your convenience, after securing your reservation with a $200 deposit, subject to pricing changes. The balance of your trip will be due 30 days prior to your visit. Leading up to that point, you can pay at your convenience in the amount that works for your budget. It's a completely self-determined payment plan.

You can book online or call the dedicated Vacation Packages Phone Line, where a friendly Cast Member will assist you. Later, when you're ready to make a payment, log in to your Disneyland account and go to "My Hotel Reservation" and select the "Make Payment" option.

Good Neighbor Hotels are Disney approved and offer convenient locations. We stayed at one across the street from the parks, and we found it to be comfortable and the walk to be very quick. I think you'll be pleased with your vacation package! And you've selected one of my favorite times in the park. Be sure to watch the Disney Parks Blog for updates about the Halloween festivities coming to Disneyland Resort ahead of your visit.

    Have a spooky fun time!
