Hi, I'm planning our family Disney Trip from Feb. 8th - 14th 2012. We are staying at the Saratoga Springs Resort and want tot take advantage of the kitchenette. How far is it to walk somewhere to get breakfast supplies ie. bread, eggs, butter?

    Hi Jessika!

We had an amazing vacation at the Saratoga Springs Resort in February a couple of years ago - you are going to love it!  Having the kitchenette will save you so much time and money.  It was so easy to eat breakfast in the room and then hit the parks, full and content.  Your kitchenette will be stocked with the basics that you will need, so don't worry about supplying dishes, cups, etc.  "Mousekeeping" will replenish the supply daily - just let them know if you need more!

The resort is quite large, well huge in fact.  Unless you are staying in The Springs, you will have quite a walk to reach the main area.  The good news is that you can hop on any of the theme park buses and the final stop will be at Carriage House, where you find the store/quick service restaurant - The Artist's Palette.  Just be sure to avoid the Downtown Disney bus, as that will have already made its stop at the Carriage House.  If you would rather have your groceries delivered directly to your room, I highly recommend GardenGrocer.com.  Enjoy!
