I'm planning on going to epcot I wanted to dress in colors that matched minnie mouse main attraction "it's a small world". I wanted to wear a purple skirt with a pink corset. is the pink corset too inappropriate to wear in parks?

Hi Devy, and welcome to planDisney! Let’s get our ears on and chat about your very fashionable Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

What Disney diva wouldn’t feel inspired by the looks in the gorgeous Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction collection? Miss Mouse is absolutely divine in these special items that reflect some of the most iconic Disney attractions. The pinks and purples of the “it’s a small world” Minnie are among my favorites!

Devy, I think you can pull off the look you’re after without any problem if you keep in mind a couple of guidelines. First, I’d take a quick look at this overview of recommended attire for Theme Park Guests. Just keep in mind that Walt Disney World welcomes Guests of all ages, so you should always think “family friendly.” With that in mind, along with the guidelines I linked above, I think if you wear something over or under your corset, you should be fine. Also, since it looks like you’re coming down in just a few days, you may want to bring along a jacket or sweater, too. Our winters are nothing like what you experience in Michigan, but it has been a bit chilly here lately for this Florida girl!

And of course, remember that you do need to wear a face covering at all times in the Theme Parks unless you’re actively eating or drinking while stationary. You can find some really cute Disney themed face coverings while you’re there!

I hope this helps you have fun getting all dressed up for your Walt Disney World adventure, Devy! Please come back and see us again if you have any more questions!

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
