    I'm planning on going to Disneyland for my 50th birthday in the spring of 2020. I want to stay at the Disneyland Hotel and wanted to know when I'll be able to book it? Also, do you have any info about ordering birthday cakes through Disney?

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m glad to hear you want to plan a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth for your birthday! You’re going to make so many magical memories celebrating the special occasion at the Disneyland Resort.

    Dates for Disneyland Resort vacation packages and hotel stays typically become available the summer prior to the calendar year you plan to travel. In other words, you’ll be able to reserve your room at the Disneyland Hotel around the middle of next year for travel in the spring of 2020. You can book online or by calling (714) 520-5060. 

    Ordering a custom decorated bakery cake made by Disney pastry chefs is my favorite way to celebrate a special day after enjoying a table-service meal at Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park or a Disneyland Resort Hotel. The cakes come in a variety of sizes and flavors, and there are also several design themes to choose from, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Disney Princesses (Aurora, Belle and Cinderella), Frozen, Star Wars, Disney·Pixar Cars, Haunted Mansion and Princess Ariel.
