Hi there, Anne Margaret, and welcome to planDisney!
October at my Happy Place is a dream. Even if you don’t partake in the separately ticketed
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you will love the slightly chillier weather and the overall festive vibe of Magic Kingdom Park. I can’t wait for the Mickey-shaped pumpkins to materialize again this upcoming season.
The Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is on pause on your October 26, 28, and 30 vacation days. On those nights, the normally scheduled fireworks show will be on display. At the moment, the Magic Kingdom Park nighttime spectacular is
Happily Ever After. While on party nights, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular is the starring attraction.
You can check the showtimes for nighttime spectaculars and theme park hours on the interactive
Hours & Events Calendar. Once you get a bit closer to your arrival date, check out the Magic Kingdom Park filter and look for the “Fireworks and Nighttime Entertainment” section for more information.
AN EXTRA GEM: Although you won’t get a fireworks show on Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party days during normal operating park hours, there is an advantage to visiting Magic Kingdom on those days. Because the theme park closes earlier for the party, many Guests opt to visit other theme parks on that day. This usually means that queues are a lot shorter during the day.
You’re going to have an amazing visit, Anne Margaret!

Magic always,
