I'm planning a Disney vacation. I want to know if park hopping is still offered? To be clear, am I able to visit Magic Kingdom and Epcot the same day? Do I need specific reservation times to go from one park to the other?

    Hi there Sherry,

Thank you for taking the time to visit us here at planDisney with your question, we are thrilled to help assist with your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Planning!  I absolutely love Park Hopping, there is nothing more magical than spending the day at Magic Kingdom Park and then heading over to Epcot for a delicious dinner and evening stroll around World Showcase.

Park Hopping is offered at Walt Disney World Resort, but with some new procedures.  When making your Theme Park Reservations using the Disney Park Pass system, choose the Theme Park you wish to visit first for that day's reservation.  After 2:00, guests are able to hop to another Theme Park, provided there is availability at your next Theme Park.  There is no need to make a second Theme Park Reservation, all you need is the Park Hopper Option!  Theme Park Availability can be checked using the My Disney Experience App, under Theme Park Hours, look at Park Hopping and the Parks Available at that time will appear.  If you do not see a Theme Park, it means that park is not currently available.  In the event where a Theme Park is not available, I do recommend checking back, as availability changes as guests come in and out of the Theme Parks.

I hope you have a great time Park Hopping on your visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Sherry.  Please come back and visit us at planDisney again, we are always happy to help.
