Hi Darlene,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Hooray for planning your first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. I am happy to greet a fellow North Carolinian!
There are often
Special Offers that provide great deals when the resort hotel and theme park tickets are purchased together. Just check to see if any of the current offers apply to the dates of your visit. If not, keep checking the Special Offers - new offers may be released that are applicable to the dates of your stay.
Having said that, I will also offer another word of advice. I always suggest that guests book at least six months in advance, especially if you have children in your family. When you book a
Magic Your Way Vacation Package with a resort hotel stay and theme park tickets, you can make
advanced dining reservations six months in advance for up to 10 days of your stay. You will also be able to make
Fast Pass+ selections 60 days in advance. Pay careful attention to these timelines because restaurants get booked quickly, especially for character meals and Fast Pass+ selections are a must-do!
Darlene, we always pay a deposit to reserve our package and then I make all of our dining reservations 180 days in advance. Although I do not make a dining reservation for every meal, I make all of the dining reservations for the table-service meals we plan to experience. Cinderella's Royal Table, Chef Mickeys, and 'Ohana are a few of our favorite restaurants. So, pick your resort hotel and book your package. Happy Planning!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
